Getting Started

The Disability Housing Centre is here to help you navigate the Roadmap to SDA. We are dedicated to working with you to achieve the housing goals of NDIS Participants, whether you are a:

  • Participant or Participant support person / family member
  • Support Coordinator, or
  • SIL Provider


We can help guide you along the road to SDA by providing:

  • Free, impartial guidance on accessing SDA funding in your NDIS plan
  • Assistance with submitting your SDA application
  • Advice for Young People transitioning out of Residential Aged Care in SDA
  • Assistance researching properties and selecting the right SDA home for you
  • Flexible tenancy arrangements for Participants awaiting funding or in need of STA or MTA
  • Help transitioning into a new home

SDA Eligibility

To apply for SDA housing, you must be eligible for SDA Funding in your NDIS plan.You can read more about SDA eligibility here.
