SIL Providers

We work with more than 60 SIL Providers (Supported Independent Living Providers) who provide care to the tenants in our homes.

We aim is to work with experienced service providers to provide high quality person to person support for all tenants in our SDA homes.

The SIL Providers look after the day to day supports and individual care for tenants, while The Disability Housing Centre (DHC) undertake the property management of the home under individual tenancy agreements.

The DHC, on behalf of our property owners:

  • Conduct standard maintenance, repairs and inspections
  • Collect rent and resolve any tenancy issues
  • Market the properties and vacancies to increase exposure and occupancy
  • Offer flexible arrangements on a case by case basis
